ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, March 17 -- Gov. Larry Hogan, R-Maryland, issued the following news release on March 16:
Governor Larry Hogan ordered the closure of bars and restaurants, and expanded the prohibition on gatherings to those of more than 50 people--the latest in a series of unprecedented actions to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The governor also announced a public health surge to combat this crisis and ensure that Maryland has the capacity and the infrast . . .
