WASHINGTON, March 10 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily:
Iowa had the highest employment-population ratio in 2019, 68.5 percent, followed by Minnesota, 68.0 percent. West Virginia (52.4 percent) and Mississippi (52.8 percent) had the lowest employment-population ratios among the states. Overall, 22 states and the District of Columbia had employment-population ratios in 2019 that were significantly higher . . .
