WASHINGTON, Feb. 29 -- The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued the following news release on Feb. 27:
Pope Francis has appointed Rev. Msgr. Gregory Studerus, Rt. Rev. Elias Lorenzo, O.S.B., and Rev. Michael Saporito as Auxiliary Bishops of Newark.
Monsignor Studerus is a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark and currently serves as Pastor of St. Joseph of the Palisades Church in West New York, NJ. Rt. Rev. Elias Lorenzo, O.S.B. is a monk of St. Mary's Abbey in Morr . . .
