WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 16 -- The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation issued the following statement by President Craig Hill on the phase one trade deal by the U.S. and China:
"Iowa farmers have long pushed for more free and open markets, and we are pleased with the progress towards that goal through the phase one China trade deal.
"Free and fair trade with China represents countless opportunities for Iowa agriculture in a growing market with a demand for U.S. ag . . .
