WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- The U.S. Department of State issued the transcript of the following special briefing on Jan. 15 by Cherrie Daniels, special envoy for Holocaust Issues at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs and Elan S. Carr, special envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, on the crimes committed against the Jewish people:
