WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 -- Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Illinois, issued the following statement on the death of U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class Miguel Villalon:
"This weekend we learned of the heartbreaking news that another beloved member of our community was victim to the cowardly and contemptuous actions of terrorists. Joliet native, Pfc. Miguel Villalon, tragically perished in Afghanistan when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while conducting operations in support of Operation . . .
