Pennsylvania Health Care Association Issues Statement on Introduction of State False Claims Act

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, Jan. 14 -- The Pennsylvania Health Care Association issued the following statement on Jan. 13 by President and CEO Zach Shamberg in response to the press conference announcing proposed legislation to enact a state False Claims Act:
"It is unfortunate that we are once again faced with what seems to be an attack on Pennsylvania's nursing home providers--this time, in the form of a state False Claims Act. Not only would this legislation create a new cause . . .
