U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), chairman of the Subcommittee on Aviation and Space, joined Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and NASA Administrator Bridenstine at Johnson Space Center for the graduation of eleven new NASA astronauts and two new Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronauts following their successful completion of more than two years of required basic training.
