Majority Leader Hoyer Issues Statement on Iran Attacks Against Iraq

WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 -- House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following statement on Jan. 8 after Iran launched a retaliatory attack against military bases in Iraq and U.S. troops stationed there:
"Like all Americans, I am appalled and outraged by Iran's attack against Iraq and our troops stationed there. I stand strongly and firmly with our men and women in uniform, who are doing their jobs with honor and courage to defend our freedom and the safety of our c . . .
