CHICAGO, Illinois, Jan. 2 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois issued the following statement by Criminal Justice Policy Director Ben Ruddell:
"The Governor's pardons of Illinoisans with convictions for marijuana possession makes the new year brighter for thousands.
