MONTGOMERY, Alabama, Jan. 1 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:
The Alabama chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Alabama), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, called for corrective action after officers posted on social media a 'Homeless Quilt' that ridiculed homeless people, to insure no member of the department engages in similar activity in the future.
