WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 -- Sen. Richard C. Shelby, R-Alabama, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, voted to approve two comprehensive appropriations packages that together contain the 12 annual appropriations measures, completing funding for the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY2020) process. One of the packages, H.R. 1865, contains crucial funding to deepen and widen the Port of Mobile.
