ATLANTA, Georgia, Dec. 20 -- The Georgia State Senate issued the following statement on the behalf of State Sen. Steve Gooch, R-Dahlonega:

Sen. Steve Gooch (R- Dahlonega) pre-filed Senate Resolution LC 112 0167 condemning the Congress of the United States for their impeachment proceedings against Donald J. Trump. This resolution was pre-filed by Senators Steve Gooch, John Wilkinson (R - Toccoa) and Brandon Beach (R - Alpharetta).
