Rep. Gallagher Issues Statement on FY 2020 Appropriations Bills

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisconsin, issued the following statement after the House passed two appropriations bills that direct more than $1.3 trillion in spending over the course of fiscal 2020:
"Last night we received 2,313 pages of appropriations bills that not only direct more than $1.3 trillion in spending, but are also filled with a whole host of special interest provisions that have no place in a traditional appropriations package.
