WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Rep. John A. Yarmuth, D-Kentucky, issued the following
regarding the articles of impeachment against President Trump (H.Res. 755):
"Forty-five years ago, as a young staffer for Senator Marlow Cook, I wrote the speech that would make him the first Senate Republican to call for the resignation of a corrupt president. As Republicans, we took no joy in going against a president of our own party, but we felt a duty greater than partisan loyalty - . . .
