WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Rep. Doug Collins, R-Georgia, ranking Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following closing statement on an impeachment presentation of evidence hearing:
"We've covered a lot of ground. We've had some tense exchanges on both sides.
"It's now almost 7 P.M., and we've been going since 9 a.m., so that's 10 hours. At the end of the day, we haven't said or done anything that is going to make anyone more likely to vot . . .
