WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, issued the following statement after the Agriculture Department announced a rule that would strengthen work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program:
"Arkansans want to help their fellow man in need, but their assistance should be taken in good faith.
