WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- The Republican Governors Association issued the following statement regarding North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper's announcement that he will run for re-election:
"From vetoing teacher pay raises to promoting sanctuary cities, Governor Cooper is going to have a tough time selling his out-of-touch, liberal record to North Carolina voters," said RGA Executive Director Dave Rexrode.
