ATLANTA, Georgia, Dec. 4 -- The Georgia State Senate issued the following statement on behalf of State Senate President Pro Tempore Butch Miller, R-Gainesville, regarding Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp's appointment of Kelly Loeffler to replace Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Georgia, in the Senate:
