WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, and Rep. Barbara Lee, D-California, chair of the Majority Leader Task Force on Poverty and Opportunity, issued the following joint statement in response to the Trump administration's finalized Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program rule:
