CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, Dec. 2 -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools issued the following news:

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Association of Educators hosted the first North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) Beginning Teachers Organizing Program earlier this month at Newell Elementary. CMS Teacher of the Year Kim Tuttle was the keynote speaker.
