WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 -- Rep. G.K. Butterfield, D-North Carolina, issued the following statement after a panel of three state judges ruled the congressional maps created by the North Carolina General Assembly will stand for the 2020 election:
"Now that the three judge panel has made its decision concerning the Congressional map for the 2020 election, I look forward to the opportunity to continue representing the people of North Carolina's First Congressional District.
