GAINESVILLE, Florida, Nov. 22 -- The city of Gainesville issued the following news:
The City of Gainesville is pleased to announce that amendments to an agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters was ratified earlier this afternoon -- extending an existing agreement through the next two fiscal years.
Amendments to the agreement provide market rate adjustments intended to align our firefighters' pay with those of peer agencies. Raises will be implement . . .
