WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) and Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin (all D-MD) have announced $98,193 in federal funding for the Newburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department, Inc. to replace outdated rescue equipment, including the "jaws of life," spreaders, cutters, rams, jacks, and stabilizers. These tools are used for rescuing people from entrapment in vehicle cr . . .
