U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen (both D-Md.) today announced the award of nearly $1.1 million to the Maryland Transit Authority (MTA) for Eastern Shore bus system improvements from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program (49 U.S.C. 5339).
