CHICAGO, Illinois, Nov. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics - Midwest Regional Information Office issued the following news release:
Gasoline prices averaged $2.733 per gallon in the Chicago-Naperville-Elgin area in October 2019, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Assistant Commissioner for Regional Operations Charlene Peiffer noted that area gasoline prices were down 17.1 cents compared to October 2018 when they averaged $2.904 per gallo . . .
