RALEIGH, North Carolina, Nov. 19 -- Gov. Roy Cooper, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Governor Roy Cooper announced that Larry Wooten will be the first recipient of the North Carolina Rural Leadership Award. Governor Cooper and Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will present the award at a reception on Wednesday, November 20 at 5:30 PM at the Executive Mansion.
