SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, Nov. 18 -- The Emergency Nurses Association issued the following news release:
The statistics are staggering. According to surveys by American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Nurses Association, almost half of emergency physicians and about 70 percent of emergency nurses have been physically assaulted at work.
