Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Community Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program has awarded a grant $50,000 and a loan of $46,000 to the Village of Amsterdam that will go toward the replacement of a police cruiser and backhoe for the Village.
