WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-OH), Martha McSally (R-AZ), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) today introduced the Humane Cosmetics Act, which would phase out the sale of cosmetic products developed using animal testing and make it unlawful to conduct cosmetic animal testing in the U.S. with limited exceptions.
