TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Nov. 15 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Fort Lauderdale area added 13,400 new private-sector jobs in the past year. The Fort Lauderdale area's unemployment rate was 2.8 percent in October, down 0.3 percentage point from one year ago.
The industries with the highest growth over the year in the Fort Lauderdale area were education and health services with 3,800 new job . . .
