WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 -- The Consumer Healthcare Products Association issued the following news release:
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer today signed HB 4412, legislation to combat teen abuse of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines containing the cough suppressant dextromethorphan (DXM) by prohibiting the sale of DXM-containing products to minors without a prescription. The new law goes into effect on July 1, 2020.
