FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina, Nov. 12 -- Cumberland County issued the following news release:
The Board of the Mid-Carolina Council of Governments (COG) unanimously appointed Justin B. Hembree on Nov. 6 to serve as the agency's executive director. He will officially begin duties on Dec. 9.
Hembree has been executive director of the Land of Sky Regional Council in Asheville since 2012. He replaces the late James E. Caldwell, who served as the Mid-Carolina COG executive d . . .
