WASHINGTON, Nov. 10 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, issued the following statement after Evo Morales resigned as president of Bolivia following massive protests resulting from serious irregularities in the nation's electoral process:
"The resignation of Evo Morales is a testament to the strength and the will of the Bolivian people.
"As I stated earlier this month, Morales was illegitimately holding on to power in Bolivia after the recent presidential elections . . .
