WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following statement on the death of Dayton Police Department Detective Jorge DelRio, who was shot on while serving a drug-related search warrant in Dayton:
"Connie and I are heartbroken to hear of the death of Detective DelRio.
"His loss is felt throughout the Dayton Community, which has already experienced too much tragedy this year.
"Our hearts remain with Detective DelRio's frie . . .
