WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio, Nov. 6 -- The U.S. Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center issued the following news:
Civilian researchers completed a two-week field demonstration here using an innovative plasma technology to degrade and destroy perfluorooctane sulfonate and perfluorooctanoic acid, known as PFOS and PFOA, in groundwater.
