WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following statement after the Buncombe County Sheriff's office released an individual from jail despite a detainer request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement to transfer his custody prior to his release:
