WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. David Rouzer, R-North Carolina, issued the following statement after voting against the House Democrats partisan impeachment inquiry resolution:
"Democrats had a chance this week to show that they are serious when they say they want to conduct a fact-based, impartial and fair impeachment inquiry.
"Instead, the resolution they put on the floor for a vote simply formalizes the sham impeachment investigation they've been conducting for . . .
