WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. Anthony Gonzalez, R-Ohio, issued the following statement on the National Collegiate Athletic Association board's vote to support name, image and likeness opportunities for college athletes:
"I am encouraged to see the NCAA come to the table on this issue and begin work to allow student athletes to capitalize on their name, image and likeness.
"I look forward to continuing to work alongside coaches, players, universities and the NCAA . . .
