BALTIMORE, Maryland, Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, Robert K. Hur, issued the following news release:
A federal jury convicted Demetrios Stavrakis, a/k/a Jimmy, age 53, of Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland, for an arson conspiracy to damage his business by setting it on fire in order to obtain insurance proceeds. The verdict was returned late on October 28, 2019.
