WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pennsylvania, issued the following statement on the one year anniversary of the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh:
"One year ago today, we witnessed the most deadly act of violence against the Jewish community in American history.
"As three congregations--Tree of Life, Dor Hadash and New Light--were observing Shabbat morning services at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, a mass shooting claimed the lives . . .
