LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, Oct. 25 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The Army Corps of Engineers issued a small craft advisory for the Arkansas River downstream of Van Buren, Arkansas. Overnight rainfall in Oklahoma and western Arkansas have caused flows to rise.
Small craft advisories are issued when flows exceed 70,000 cubic feet per second. During high flows, strong currents and large debris can threaten the safety of pleasure craft.< . . .
