WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the United States Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded $2,700,000 grant to the city of Oregon to help attract new businesses to the region to expand Cedar Point Industrial Park. This grant, to be matched with $679,179 in local funds to bring total funds to $3,395,895, is expected to create 22 jobs, sav . . .
