TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Oct. 22 -- The Florida Senate issued the following news release on behalf of Florida State Sen. Linda Stewart, D-Orlando:
Senator Linda Stewart (D-Orlando) received unanimous support in the Senate Criminal Justice Committee today for legislation that would remove the statute of limitations for sexual battery offenses committed against any victim under age 18.
