Wis. U.S. Attorney: Justice Department Awards Over $273.4 Million to Improve Public Safety in American Indian and Alaska Native Communities

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, Oct. 22 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Matthew D. Krueger, issued the following news release:

Three Tribes in the Eastern District of Wisconsin were awarded over $2,194,357 in funding.

The Department of Justice announced October 21, 2019 that it has awarded over $273.4 million in grants to improve public safety, serve victims of crime, combat violence against women and support youth programs in American Indian and Alas . . .
