SALISBURY, North Carolina, Oct. 22 -- Catawba College issued the following news:

Dr. Andrew Jacobson, Assistant Professor of GIS and Conservation at Catawba College, is the lead author of a National Geographic funded research paper, "Global Areas of Low Human Impact and Fragmentation of the Natural World."
