WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 -- Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, issued the following statement on the death of Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Maryland, chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee:
"I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman Elijah Cummings. Congressman Cummings was a fierce advocate for his convictions.
