DAYTON, Ohio, Oct. 15 -- The Dayton Foundation issued the following news release:
The Dayton Foundation Governing Board has approved a special $500,000 discretionary grant to support both the long-term recovery efforts following the Memorial Day tornados and the victims of the August 4 Oregon District mass shooting. This grant represents one of the largest discretionary grants awarded from the Foundation since its founding in 1921.
