RALEIGH, North Carolina, Oct. 14 -- The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters issued the following news release:
The NCLCV Foundation's outreach program PowerUp NC hosted a major Raleigh candidate forum just days before last week's city elections.
More than 150 community members took part in the People First forum featuring almost every mayoral and city council candidate. Members of the media and the governor's staff were also in attendance.
