PEORIA, Illinois, Oct. 4 -- Rep. Darin LaHood, R-Illinois, issued the following news release:

Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-18) announced today that the Congressional App Challenge is now open for the high school students in Illinois' 18th Congressional District. The goal of the Congressional App Challenge is to inspire, include, and innovate efforts around STEM, coding, and computer science education.
